Thanks to Stephen Thomas and Derik Fisk who led our worship last Sunday. Derik also led the Tuesday service.
FAMILY NEWS:
Sophie Davies has been chosen for the Welsh squad of the bowls under 25 team. Alun Lewis continues to be at Ward 9. Peggy Williams is now in Mynyddmawr. Beth Griffiths is at Morriston. Glen Davies has been admitted to Prince Philip. Mervin Hanbury has been admitted to Prince Philip Hospital.
Our thoughts and prayers are with these dear friends.
CHURCH CHOIR:
The church choir begin rehearsals for their Easter presentation the musical ‘Redeeming Love’ an Easter Musical next Thursday 26th January. New choristers are always welcome. The choir meets on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm until 8.15pm including a time for coffee and fellowship! More information Llanelli 741127.
Unsung Heroes Llanelli Chapel Musicians:
Huw Edwards of the BBC will deliver a talk in the Glenalla Civic Hall on Friday 27th January at 07.30 p.m. on the Unsung Heroes - Llanelli Chapel Musicians. This talk has been arranged by the Llanelli District Music and Drama Club and tickets are priced £7.50.
All proceeds are in aid of Ty Bryngwyn Hospice. Tickets are available from George Lewis in Llanelli Market, Llanelli Library. Annette also has a supply in Greenfield.
